I hope I can make contact and tell you that I am sorry that you have lost a sister,  Sheila.  She was a wonderful person and I was lucky to have her as a friend for many years.

I met Sheila in 1970 when she came to Kenya.  I was teaching at a school in Mombasa and Sheila began work at a school some miles to the south.  She often came to spend the weekend at my flat in the city.  We had many mutual friends and had many happy times and some very interesting experiences.

At that time I had a cine camera and the old films are lost in the attic. Paul, later my husband, taught at my school and took a group of 4 boys up Mt. Kilimanjaro.  He allowed Sheila and I to go with them.  Later Sheila and I went up Mount Kenya, riding on ponies.  We also went to game parks.

In 1971  when I was ill with malaria, Sheila took me to her home and nursed me for nearly a week. I always feel grateful for that.

After we returned to England , Paul and I lived in Essex and enjoyed the times when Sheila visited us.  She was often overseas in Italy and other places. In 1976 we moved to Somerset when we retired.  We still enjoyed seeing Sheila here or at Salisbury.  I met you [Christine] there once when you were visiting Sheila.

Paul and I send our deep sympathy at this sad time.
